Wir hatten sehr gehofft, Jacks k\u00f6nnte nach dem schrecklichen Unfall und seinem Leid zumindest einen ruhigen Lebensabend bei uns verbringen. Sich umsorgen lassen und eine sichere Unterkunft und Freunde genie\u00dfen. Du warst nur sehr kurz bei uns. Aber du hast direkt unsere Herzen gewonnen mit deinen vertrauensvollen, lieben Augen. Du schienst dich einzugew\u00f6hnen, Freundschaften zu schlie\u00dfen. Doch dann bist du nicht mehr aufgewacht. Wo auch immer du sein magst, s\u00fc\u00dfer Jacks, wir hoffen auf der anderen Seite der Regenbogenbr\u00fccke kannst du endlich wieder laufen und frei von Sorgen sein. Du fehlst.<\/p>\n
Wir danken Petra, die sich bereits dazu entschieden hatte, f\u00fcr Jacks die Patenschaft zu \u00fcbernehmen. Sch\u00f6n, dass es Menschen gibt, die einem alten gebrechlichen Hund eine Chance und Liebe geben.<\/p>\n

We had very much hoped that Jacks could at least spend a quiet retirement with us after the terrible accident and suffering. Let himself be taken care of and enjoy safe accommodation and friends. You were only with us for a very short time. But you won our hearts directly with your trusting, dear eyes. You seemed to get used to making friends. But then you didn’t wake up anymore. Wherever you may be, sweet Jacks, we hope on the other side of the rainbow bridge you can finally walk again and be free from worries. We will miss you.<\/p>\n

Hallo mein Name ist Jacks oder auch Jackie, <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ich lebte in Koteshwor auf der Stra\u00dfe. F\u00fcr meine Freunde und mich gab es in der Pandemiezeit kein Essen mehr zu finden. Also verlie\u00df ich mein gewohntes Gebiet, um Nahrung und Wasser zu suchen. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pl\u00f6tzlich kam ein Fahrzeug und \u00fcberfuhr mich. Ich hatte schreckliche Schmerzen. Ich dachte ich w\u00fcrde sterben. Ich verlor das Bewusstsein. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ich wurde zu Sneha\u2018s Care gebracht, wo ich nach ein paar Tagen aufwachte. Einige Tage lang konnte ich mich nicht einmal bewegen und sa\u00df einfach nur da in derselben Position. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Inzwischen kann ich mich hier und da bewegen und krauchen. Sie geben mir Medikamente und spielen mit mir. Ich habe wieder Hoffnung, aber mein Hinterteil bleibt gel\u00e4hmt. Mit einem Rollstuhl kann ich trotzdem laufen und spielen. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Als behinderter Hund finde ich keine Familie in Nepal mehr. Weil hier viele Hunde auf sich gestellt auf der Stra\u00dfe leben m\u00fcssen, k\u00f6nnen die Menschen sich einfach einen passenden Stra\u00dfenhund aussuchen \u2013 und das sind meist gesunde, h\u00fcbsche Welpen. In ein Tierheim muss daf\u00fcr niemand fahren. Ich werde dauerhaft im Tierheim leben m\u00fcssen. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mit Petra habe ich aber eine wundervolle Patin gefunden, die sich nicht davor scheut, einem \u00e4lteren, behinderten Hund ihr Herz zu schenken. There was no food for my friends and me during the pandemic. So I left my usual area to look for food and water. <\/span><\/p>\n Suddenly a vehicle came and hit me. I was in terrible pain. I thought I was going to die. I lost consciousness. <\/span><\/p>\n I was taken to Sneha’s Care, where I woke up after a few days. I couldn’t even move for a few days and just sat there in the same position. <\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile I can move and crawl here and there. They give me medication and play with me. I have hope again, but my rump remains paralyzed. I can still run and play with a wheelchair. <\/span><\/p>\n As a disabled dog, I can no longer find a family in Nepal. Because many dogs have to live on the street on their own, people can simply choose a suitable street dog – and these are usually healthy, pretty puppies. Nobody has to go to an animal shelter. I will have to live permanently in the shelter. <\/span><\/p>\n With Petra, I have found a wonderful sponsor who is not afraid to give her heart to an older, disabled dog.
